All Saints Brewery

The Victorian steam powered brewery, also known as All Saints Brewery, is located at 21-22 All Saints Street in the shadow of the 14th century All Saints Church.

The present brewery, now owned by Melbourn Bros., was established in 1825 although it is probable that activities connected with brewing and malting have been carried out on this site for centuries.

The antique steam brewing equipment at All Saints Brewery is today used to make a range of organic handcrafted fruit beers. Visitors to Stamford can enjoy the fruit beers while visiting the museum also on the site.

The brewery, run unusually by steam, was established in 1825, but ceased brewing in 1974, it being felt to be uneconomical to replace the necessary machinery.

The museum was created in 1978 and contains much of the original brewing and distilling equipment.
